I like the CC, but then again that's what I own

Well I vote for the Coachmen. We are on our 2nd one. Both have been used. My Dad had 4 or 5 new ones. No major problems with any of them. We joined our local Coachmen club and have met many happy owners. Happy camping, John

My vote would be with the Cedar Creek, all good choices, but I just like the way the CC is laid out, one of the only front living rooms WITHOUT a walk thru bathroom. I just do not like a bath room that has a door right in the kitchen area, just my opinion. Good luck with your search.

All this feedback is Great! I like hearing all sides good and bad.. I am not a full time puller, 2 times a month and a couple of week long vacations..Can't wait to start up again in Spring!

Just because it "TOWS IT JUST FINE" doesn't mean it is safe or not over the limits of the truck. I'm not sure why people think it is perfectly ok to exceed the GVWR of their vehicles. Max tow ratings often exceed what the trucks GVWR is. It's not about what you can pull but what you can carry.

I don't have an issue with being over the GVWR for my truck! Seeing how I can be over GVWR and NOT need any extra spring other then the FACTORY Campe Package springs to sit level. Truck and 5er drive and tow like they are on rails, 2500 with 3500 springs and sway bar. Unlike today with a model of truck may have 5 or 6 GVWR the 01 2500 had one 8,800#

I see all these post by I am within all weights, but putting air bags to level or smooth the ride. I don't need any of that to be level or ride smooth, so I must be more within capacity than those others!!!!

I towed our 98 12V 4X4 Ram with 02 Avion platinum combined weight of 20,500# for 5 years. The TV sat level and handled the load well. I knew I was at the top of where it was safe. I did get hit with a side wind coming down a pass into Palm Springs and let me tell you if the RV was any longer/heavier I would have lost it.

So for me a larger RV meant larger TV as in my signature.

He probably can't fit a larger truck in his garage or drive thru or parking stalls or…….

Sure it tows just fine but…….does it HANDLE in a panic lane change JUST FINE???????

I know from personal experience what happens when the tail is too much for the dog, it's called ROLL OVER!

I also looked at the three fivers that you list and I have a 2011 F250 CC diesel longbed RWD and I know that they, when loaded up and ready to go, will be to heavy, the pin weight will be your first problem but there will be other issues regarding weight. I opted for a lighter fiver, a 2012 V-Cross 275 which has a listed dry pin weight of 1,193 lbs, hookedup and ready to go it has a pin weight of just over 2,000 lbs. Those three listed will have pin weights of around 3,000 lbs and you will be over the 10,000 lbs limit for the truck. Good Luck
