We have upgraded to a 2014 F-250 Crew Cab Powerstroke Diesel 4x4 recently. So I am sure I will be able to pull either one. I will check out the Montanas as well..
Don't let the numbers fool you. If your looking at the mystical Dry or shipping weighs figuring you can carry the load I have to say, you are in for a big awakening. My 34CKTS carries a pin weight around 3000 pounds. and the one you are looking at is going to be higher still. Cedar Creeks are notorious for high pin weights, one of the reasons they pull so well.
Since you already have the truck I think you should reevaluate your idea and start considering a much small and lighter fifth wheels. Either that or be prepared to upgrade to a dually in the near future.
Man talk about pop this guys bubble!
But what you say is very true!
