We thought about a carport but we're needing to build a worshop anyway so it just made sense to put them together. Our workshop will be 30Dx40W with 15Dx40W covered porch in front of two 12Wx10H roll up doors. The attached RV garage will be 45Dx20W with 12Wx14H roll up door. We wanted to build both sides slightly larger (our 5er is 36'7") but the lay of our land where we wanted/needed to put it won't accomodate a deeper building. I believe it will suit our needs though just fine. I seriously doubt we will ever opt for a bigger 5er (maybe smaller) as it is just the 2 of us.
