The max GVWR for a F250 is 10,000 pounds, you are at 11120 which puts you 1120 pounds over limit without a full load in the truck or the trailer. You need at least a F350 DRW and preferably a F450 to safely pull your trailer. Whoever told you you hat the F250 would pull that trailer lied to you badly, but they made the sale. You got conned big time and are now stuck with forking out big bucks to get a new truck with the capacity to safely pull the trailer. Salespople, ya just gotta love em.
Here goes the dually crowd. My 09 F350 SRW is rated for 11k and would have no problem with those numbers. NONE
No dually needed for that trailer.
I know...this is one of the reasons why I don't post too often to this forum. The one guy that said I need an F450 bought had me rolling on the floor...he must own a Ford dealership that deals mostly in trucks :). My truck will handle this trailer fine...and has been...I just wanted to get firm numbers and feedback from the forum before I make some upgrades like a spring pack equivalent or greater than an F350 SRW and some new shocks. The truck barely dips when I hook the trailer to it and when I put 65 psi in the air bags I added, it levels the truck right out.
