After much debate and back and forth, finally made a decision for a toy hauler to pull with our 14 F250 Super Crew diesel and bought the Impact 303. Had a lot of nice features and the generator we wanted at what seems to be a bargain price.Bad news is its far away, so next month making the 1000 mile journey (one way). Any advice, thoughts, or guidance would be appreciated as this will be our first one and its a long trip....Thanks!

Congrats, very nice TH (IMHO). We came very close to buying one. It was either the 303 or the Evergreen Amped 32GS. A few of the options we could get on the 32 GS swayed us to it (LED lighting, Porch option for ramp, 50 Amp service to allow for 2nd A/C in garage, overhead cabinets in the garage, etc.). Similar weight and size THs. We also tow our 32GS with a F250 Diesl CC. We use a Hensley Arrow hitch ad it tows real well. These are long and tall bumper THs.

We did get the 50 amp on this with the 5.5 gen as well. Liked the party decks I saw but the price on this one I could not pass up. It was about 7,000 more to get a 15 for the led interior lights for any dealer around.What's the best hitch that fits a 2.5" receiver? Trying not to use the 2" adapter to keep full tow and tongue ratings. Was leaning toward equalizer to avoid drilling. Thanks

We have the Fuzion 301, very similar in size and weight. We have the equalizer 2.5 inch rcvr. I saw that ford de-rated the hitch with the 2inch adapter when i was buying my truck. GM does not do that, for whatever reason. I like the way you sit more across from the TV in the 303 model.Enjoy your trip to pick it up !

Do you have that item number on the hitch? Looking for it, not many specify and want to order the right one. How's the quality been with the 301?

The trailer came with the 14K Equalizer hitch and a 2 inch drawbar from the dealer (90-00-1400), I swapped out the shank for the 2.5 inch size., i think it was the 90-02-4800 shank.Quality was so-so,typical mass produced Keystone stuff. we had a list of stuff for the dealer to fix , which they did. I have done a few other mods to make it "ours"

Finally pulled the trigger....leftover 2014 Impact 303

So anyway got a Carbon 33 instead, able to get a 16 model a lot closer to home. Hopefully will be a good unit.

MSRP on a fully loaded one (with Patio, 5000 watt gen, 2nd AC/C, etc..) runs about 63K,,,pretty easy to negotiate 25% to 30% off so mid to upper 40K is about the going price...that was our experience in purchasing...

If you had doubts, IMHO you made the correct decision.

Again IMHO, as long as you have cancelled, take a look at the Evergreen Amped 32GS. Similar floor plan. Again, IMHO, e found the quality to be better. Some examples:

Marine grade plywood flooring, vice chipboard on the Keywstone
Plywood glued and screwed drawers
Well organized wire runs.
All outside wires are protected with extra sheathing.
Patio option (which was not an available option on the Keystone (when we brought)
Overhead cabinets in the garage.

We have lived in the unit for almost 4 months now and I have done numerous mods. We have owner three RV and this is by far the best built so far.

Just an opinion for your consideration...

Well about those excellent points in the last two posts....I am a little over concerned sometimes so this was a big stretch for me...I didnt want to say anything on here, but I somewhat got overly concerned about a leftover 14 and delivery and the possible problems...so I cancelled.

Just cant get over some of the worries. Going to a more local place, paying a bit more for a 16 instead.

The problem with a delivery is that you do not get the benefit of walk through inspection to address any issues. Now you have to deal with warranty problems through the factory or another dealer that may support you.

hmmm i would think its almost cheaper time and money-wise to hire a hotshot driver. I had a quote from Virginia to Arizona for 1200$ Thought that was a decent price if i was going to save 5-7k on a rig.

I swapped the shank for a 2.5 when I got my new truck, You could probably order it any config you wanted from the get go.

Ah so if I want equalizer brand I have to buy the whole thing and swap the shank....thanks. Glad nothing too bad.
