Fireplace
For those of you that have fireplaces do they really heat well?

Ours works great as well. What is nice when the furnace is on and the bedroom door closed it gets very warm in the bedroom. That leaves the living room a little chilly. You turn the fireplace on and it takes the chill off the living area.
We had the kids stay a couple of nights had the fireplace on to keep them warm when sleeping on the sofa bed.
I always thought why would you want a fireplace in a camper. But I would buy one again with one in it.

Agree Dan, When I first saw it, I thought, "how stupid", what a waste...BUT.....it grows on you, and to some that think the flames "look cheap" or whatever, in reality, I was impressed as were others that would visit us while camping and the fireplace was on...We too have one in our bedroom, (added by me), no room lost and it adds an "ambiance" that the wife and I think is really nice...both in the bedroom and in the living room..
