For those of you that have fireplaces do they really heat well?

An RV is a waste of energy, weight, money and resources. A $50 tent and a $25 sleeping bag, along with a few pots and pans, will allow for necessary shelter. If you want or need all that excess creature comfort, go for it. :W LOL
