- avvidclif1ExplorerLots of good suggestions for some things you will need and some you might need.
May I suggest your first camping trip be to Campground Driveway. Load up like you are going camping and spend the weekend in your driveway. Try and not go into the house except for what you "forgot". No cheating by showering or cooking in the house. If you can do that you should be good for a real weekend of camping. It will also give you a chance to try out your new camper.
Your neighbors probably will think you are nuts but ignore them. - HalmfamilyExplorerCash, so you can to Walmart or Home Depot and get what you forgot. We're on our third year and finally think we have everything we need. We have actually taken some items out we haven't used.
Besides cash, a sense of humor and patients.
Have fun and good luck. Seems like yesterday we made our first trip. - DelawareCamperExplorerduct tape
- rich_and_charExplorerPaper and pencil , to wright down the things you forgot , for the next trip.
- Bamaman11ExplorerTire gauge to check air pressure.
Good 1/2" torque wrench to check the trailer lugs.
T handle lug nut wrench.
Extra wheel chocks.
Extra wood blocks.
Good general tool chest, including a good battery electric drill.
Good air tank--with air in it. - downtheroadExplorerRemember...you will not be camping on Mars.
If you somehow don't bring EVERY single thing you need, you will still survive and have a good time.
Also..stuff is available just down the road from most every campground in this country. - RedJeepExplorerBlankets, drinks for the kids, coffee and golashes (we live in Oregon)

load up and have a great time! - scbwrExplorer II1. Extension cord (RV)
2. Keep an extra empty 5 gallon gas can in truck or vehicle just in case you can't navigate close to a gas pump and you have to have gas!
3. A small tire inflator or air compressor that can handle filling the tires on your RV and/or tow vehicle, along with a good tire pressure gauge.
4. A well stocked tool box for any emergency repairs or adjustments.
5. Wood blocks for under stabilizer jacks and wood or whatever for leveling RV, along with a level if you don't have one mounted on RV.
6. At least two days worth of your favorite drink!!
7. A good camera for saving the best memories!
8. Matches and some kindling for starting a fire.
And...credit card for buying anything you forgot!!
And a sense of humor for when the unexpected happens!!!! - HelimechExplorerIt doesn't matter how much you bring, Murphy will be right there by your side.
