The pole is similar to the Flagpole Buddy pole which has several problems:
One of the best on the market for flag poles and mounts is Poles And Holders they are a family owned, father and daughter company.
1. The pins tend to wear larger holes in the pole.
2. The upper sections without pins tend to collapse.
Maybe they have a better pole - don't know. Where are they located?
Two other observations:
1. Their ladder mount requires climbing up the ladder. It is very short vertically which will place a lot more stress on the ladder.
2. Their $78 disk solar light is identical to the 2 I purchased on ebay for $20 each. - IAMICHABODExplorer IIOne of the best on the market for flag poles and mounts is Poles And Holders they are a family owned, father and daughter company.
They have been in business for more than 16 years making all their mounts in house, and have great customer service, fast shipping, and a very good warranty, if there is any problems just bring it by or call Corky, the owner, he will make it right.
Here in the west, on our windy beaches and deserts, you will see mostly their products. Their price is right for a quality, long lasting and durable flag pole and Mounts I use the Folding Hitch Mount - C_B_ExplorerI have two 16' that you extend and twist to lock. I would not recommend these. they tend to loosen and drop down.
Since the pics below were taken I've added a 21' pin lock type that doesn't have that problem.
C.B. - CA_TravelerExplorer IIII use Flagpole Buddy which is mounted on the ladder. You can make your own mount as I did for the house. I know not a hitch mount...:S
