I owned a Folbot (pronounced FOLD BOAT) many years ago which I enjoyed very much, especially as a small sailboat. We took it several times to St. Andrews State Park in Florida where I could sail in the lagoon and even in the bay. It has an aluminum framework which inserts into a heavy frabric "skin". It was 17 feet long. When broken down it packed into two "golf bag size" bags--three with the sail rig.
The Folbot is similar in concept to the Klepper, not as expensive. They are still available in several sizes.
