four seasons 5th wheel recomendations

Looking to replace our Sunnybrook because it is getting older and it isn't four seasons. We boondock almost exclusively in the southwest and would like one that we didn't have to worry so much about water lines/tanks freezing up. The Fox Mountain 235rls fits perfectly but used ones seem to be rare and new ones are too expensive. Under 30' is best because we tow atvs or a pontoon boat.
Thanks
  • Northwood products will be your best shot. Fox Mountain is a relatively new name for them. Look for either a Nash or Arctic Fox in your price range.
  • There are many 5th wheels that have heated basements, tanks, and such. My former 2008 Keystone Everest did pretty good in the snow but it sure did suck down the propane to keep things warm. It was OK for a night or two but not more unless you have access to propane refill. Our current Voltage TH has also been in the snow and did well but it, too, sucked down the propane. Both trailers have heating for the tanks and water lines and electric fireplaces. But they all lack home-style insulation, which is the kicker.
  • Very happy with our Arctic Fox. Haven't had it in sub freezing weather yet, but last trip out was in the mid to upper 30's. Very little fogging on the inside of the dual pane windows. Next outing will be New Years weekend on the Oregon Coast.
