Where was last place you filed tank....that water could be just different enough to upset dogs.

I only mentioned the tank heaters because that is what is different on this trip. Before getting here, I filled the fresh water tank in Hearshy, there policy in winter was no hose connected overnight, they stated fill your fresh water tank, then disconnect, which is what we did. And no, even with the "plug in hose", the cold water remains cold.
