Fridge Fuse?
I was cleaning my fridge igniter and chimney and when pulling the igniter so I think I heard a spark. Didn't see anything so I looked at an inline fuse holder and found a blown 3 amp 250V glass fuse. The inline holder has a red wired wired to a 12v source and other end
runs up and behind the fridge somewhere. After checking several places the NAPA dealer told me it being 250V it was for electronics. Made sense. Went to local Rv dealer and he doesn't have that fuse. Just the standard wire or flat elements for automotive.
I did see several higher amp fuses that have like this one, a twisted type element. Fuse at dealer has "slow acting" on the package. Fuse is 3/4 inch long, about 3/16" in diameter. I know I can put an inline holder to accept a more common fuse but is this the right thing to do? Or an inline holder for a blade type fuse. Only other info. is on the other end and reads "TEB". Fridge is currently on propane and cooling good. Haven't tried electric.
