That's the issue. The natural heat convection doesn't work well trying to go in the bottom vent and then making a 90 degree turn to escape out the top vent. The fridges that are not in the slide vent straight up out the roof vent. Much better.
If I buy another RV, the first thing on my list is: "is the fridge in a slide?".
My Dometic failed on the maiden voyage. The mega size dealer in Houton couldn't fix it in 3 tries. Small independent shop replaced entire cooling system under Dometic warranty. Rv was "out of service" for 4 months.
