Our first 5th wheel had a Dometic RM 1350 mounted in a slide and we had issues with it not cooling properly. Shortly before we traded it I finally figured out that the "flap" attached to the left door which basically seals the right door was not fully closing. So it was like having the fridge door partially open all the time. As long as we closed the left door first, then pulled the "flap" into its fully closed position before closing the right door it worked fine in all kinds of weather.
That's the same issue that killed my Dometic 1350 on the maiden voyage.
