They are still in the same cabinet configuration regardless of whether its in a slide or otherwise...what am I missing?? Refrigerators in a slide out do not have a roof vent so an electric fan is used to vent the hot air from the coils. They use a thermal switch and in cool climate they don't come on a lot but are really loud. In the summer they kick on quite frequently. The one in my last TT was very annoying. Some have replaced the fan with quieter fan and added baffles to direct the air flow out of the compartment which helps. This is a common complaint.
