:h As compared to the front bedroom, all the front living rooms we saw had a lot less storage room up front in the main bay. It has nothing to do with the plumbing or wiring or batteries ( they are on the sides). Wiring and plumbing take up little space. It has more to do with slide motors and head room in the FL.

Since when is storage a bad thing in your rig? I've seen some pretty cool thing people have done with their storage bays, and it has nothing do do with collecting junk to feel comfortable. Some people do full time, I'm sure extra storage is a nice feature for those folks.

Really liked the front living room floor plans when they first came out...

After careful consideration, ended up not picking one because of the lower ceiling height in the living area. Even on a "tall" 5er, it felt claustrophobic.

Regarding the living room seating position (regardless of front or rear floor plan), we really like the RV on the front or rear wall - as pictured in this thread. Some indicate that that TV viewing position is 90 degrees... While it is, I do not find this to be a problem, when I crash on the couch (or in my chair) i CRASH on the couch and many times, lay down.. LOL...

One nice thing about that arrangement is the opposing seating config - especially with the opposing slides. Gives a very large space when people site face to face and they're across the room.

If you have six point, you do not need a hitch Stablizer . In fact it's not necessary and discouraged by my dealer! We never have any movement and I am a big guy!

They are excellent from a safety aspect, since the BR emergency exits are close to the ground with large windows. Also, you are not sleeping on top of the generator, batteries, and propane bottles. Think about that one for a minute.

The pin weight is more, and you do give up some basement storage.

We have the front living room and prefer it to the front bedroom on our previous 5er. The rear bedroom is larger and has it's own a/c unit. We also prefer having a separate bathroom. We have front and back doors. However, the Silverback has very little storage. It's been our experience that a class A has more picture window type viewing than a 5er or TT.

We just bought a new Redwood. While we didn't buy a FL wegave it a lot of thought. We didn't want the steps from the kitchen.
