I have done a lot of winter camping in temps that were sometimes around 0 and below 0. A thick cardboard tube is great to insulate a sewer hose. I found one at a hardware store that lengths of steel rods came in and it was the perfect size for my sewer hose. It is best to locate one before you head out camping and carry it with you if you are going to cold climates. As for a water hose you will have to use a hose with a heat strip in it. They can be found at hardware stores and camping world. As mentioned above keep your black water tank valve closed, except of dumping. My black and gray water valves are both in the enclosed and insulated belly of my trailer and are heated with basement heat so internal plumbing is protected against freezing. If you are going to be away from your trailer for a few days I would leave the furnace set at about 50 degrees just to keep everything thawed while gone.
