To the OP - one thing you will need to factor into your TH choice is where you are going to store clothes for everybody. With 3 teenagers, you are going to need a pretty large area to store clothing, and have it easily accessible to them....In most TH's - the master bedroom closet and dresser is the only "clothing" storage area.
We have 3 kids also, and have to use the plastic stacking drawer/bins that you can find at Walmart, Target, Lowe's, etc. Takes up A LOT of room in the garage while we are "parked" and they get stashed where ever there is room in transit - on the couch, on the master bed, etc.
TH's sleep ten, but only seem to have space to store clothes for 2....
