Cummins doesn't do that and even with our old 5.9, we easily went 10,000 miles on a change verified with lab testing, could have gone 12,500 miles, but 10,000 was about what we put on in a year.
The point is with modern vehicles, you are looking at 1 or 2 oil changes per year unless you drive extreme miles. Oil changes simply aren't a big deal in terms of cost.
