I had a similar problem a while back. I used the fuel pump and everything was fine. I went to use it again a few days later and had nothing! As it turned out, the impellers internal to the pump had swollen (due to ethanol in the fuel) and would no longer turn. I disassembled the pump, sanded the plastic impellers and reassembled. Everything worked fine after that. I also contacted the pump manufacture and they sent me new impellers that are less effected by todays fuel. Bottom line, it may not be an electrical problem. While trouble shooting I noticed the pump was getting hot to the touch. That clued me into the impellers. Good luck!
