I have a little more truck than I need, but too much truck is not a bad problem. My previous TV for the Fuzion was an '02 Ford F-350 SRW Shortbed. The F-350 had plenty of power, but the SRW was a little unstable. The Freightliner is actually a better ride and drive than the LDT. The Freightliner turns shorter, has better visibility, has air ride cab and ride seats and gets the same fuel mileage. The big plus is the braking capacity. I lost the trailer brakes once, but the Freightliner didn't care, stopped the rig with zero trailer brake assistance in a short distance.
