Light pin wt can cause chucking.....more pin wt is usually better....best thing to do is hook one up and go to scale....see what rear axle weight is....then adjust load in trailer so you don t exceed it....we have a light 5 er with 1500 or so pin wt.....and are no where near the 6200 max....for our 2500 even with generator and firewood.......so check the scales and find out the GCWR and I would think you should be in limits???? No one ever tells you which component will fail if you exceed weights....or how many miles it take for it to fail...
