Well you might want to actually go look at the tires on your truck, in tiny print it will give a max load capacity per tire at a given air pressure. Add the two rear tires max load ability and don't put more weight into your truck than those tires are built to safely carry. Are people running over loaded with their trucks, oh yea! Are they all broken and laying along the highways, no, not that I've seen. Are some experiencing less than great towing rides, yep but they are still moving along. See what axle rating you have, if adding air bags, better springs or some other method to level your truck and still not go beyond the tire capacity,you should be able to roll just like the other thousands of trucks moving larger trailers. Just my 2 cents.
