Garage screen doors

Hey everyone, I'm brand new to this sight so I apologize if this has been asked before, I'm still learning how to use this forum.

I recently purchased a new 2014 Keystone Raptor 332TS. I live three hours from the dealer I bought it from and when I picked it up it was closing time for the dealership. Needless to say the dealer showing me all the ins and outs was a little hurried. I must admit I was also in a rush because I wanted to hit the road and get back home so we could load up and start camping.

My question is, how do I open the rear screen in the garage so I can park my ATV inside. I see there are pins in the top of the screen frame but when I pull the pins nothing happens, I assume the screen fold out but I can't seem to get them to move.

  • The magnet is very strong at first give it a good tug and it should come up. http://www.keystonerv.org/forums/showthread.php?t=22848

Mine came with the pull down screen like you have. I also didn't order them on purpose as I was afraid of loosing width at the entrance. I regretted it after hearing from other owners and had XLR install the doors on my recent trip to the plant. I LOVE THEM. They make the room so much more usable. When we FTE folks all get together, I'll have to show you mine...

  • Carl, I believe what Eric has is the three season screen patio doors. They slide from side to side to walk out into the rear party deck. However, to open them completely for loading the toys, the OP needs to pull the pins he described and pull straight back on the screen door frame. They will swing straight back and out like barn doors.
  • The screen in my Impact rolls up like an old fashioned window shade.
