I agree with Broccoli.
Plus I want fuel in the tank as part of our disaster prep plan.
I always add gas and Stabil before we leave on a trip. I also add Stabil to our gas jugs for the bikes. Then at the end of the trip I pour anything left in the jugs into the TH tank.
If we haven't gone out on a trip in the last month, I go down to the storage yard and run the gen to circulate the fuel in the lines and turn on the air conditioner to run it under a load.
The fuel tank is for fuel. Use it.
If there are cruddy cooties in the tank, then it's better to dilute it with more fuel than to leave a bunch of dead air for more condensation.
