During the camping season I don't use Stabil. I use the tank on the RV as my gas caddy. Fill cans, lawn tractor, atv's, etc. Then every trip I fill it back up. Usually works just about right and no more lugging cans to the gas station. The last trip of the year I add Stabil for the winter. We too don't use the generator often as most parks we stay at have electric hookups. Buuut, when they don't it's a great feature. We also use it to cool the RV if we are traveling on a really hot day. Start it up a couple of hours before getting to the campsite and the ac will have it nice and cool when we get there. I also use it in the winter if my power ever goes out to power my whole house. The only thing we have in our home that's 220V is the central air and that's not needed much in the winter. It's amazing how well the Onan 5500 can run a 2500 sq foot house with ease. It also is a great way to "exercise" the generator in the off season...
I'm interested in how you do this. How do you get power from the genny to your house panel?
