Gas mileage comparison between towing TT and 5'er?

We had started out looking at 25' TTs but then went to 5'ers, A. Because we like to have decent kitchen counter space, especially since we will be living in it for about 6 months while we remodel ...

Just returned from Colorado Springs (1700) miles and hand calculated 9.8 MPG. I routinely run 62-63 MPH and it does make a difference. We have a big rig (40ft) and yes we do pull it with a 1-ton diesel.

We enjoy the RV Adventure -- MPG and the cost of fuel is what you pay to have fun.
