I'm in rural Alabama and a number of my favorite fuel stops were completely out. I don't remember seeing so many Diesel pumps bagged before, not around here. For some reason most stations were out of the 93 and 89 octane. Last time we had shortages it was the regular gas that ran out first. Saw Harley riders filling up with regular today, no 93 octane around here.
I had to get Diesel in town at a little station, seemed like it took forever to pump 80 gallons with the standard nozzle. I blocked two pumps with my truck and trailer, but I got gas for the trailer generator without having to move twice. It worked out just right, just enough hose between the two pumps to reach all three tanks.
