Let me point out something else about gas stations. Avoid pumps in the middle and do your best to use only the outside pumps. You can pull into one of those interior pump stations and then find that you have a heck of a time maneuvering out. This is especially true considering the erratic way that people park their vehicles at gas stations. And the way that they'll leave them and go into the station for 10 minutes.
Before I pull into a station I am asking myself can I get out easily? If the answer is no or there is some doubt I'll pass it by. We spent 30 minutes helping one fellow get his RV out of a station after he found that he could pull in but had to back out.
