Gen noise TT vs 5er
Can anyone comment on the diff of noise levels in TT vs 5ers? Most TT have the gen mounted next to the forward bed and seems like it would be quite noisy?

All 5th wheels have gen in forward compartment under the BR unless they're front living.
Not for toy haulers, which this section is toy haulers.
Weekend Warriors had the gennys on the side for years. I think until 2007, then they got moved up under the bedroom.
I have always had trailers with the genny on the side, so I can't give any input on different location.
Go to any RV lot and look at a newer 5er TH. Genny will be up front under the bed. OP wasnt asking about a 10+yr old relic thats not even in business any more. Nice try though...

just a soft hum...not bad at all in my Raptor. My exhaust does exit on the curb side however, so i dont know if that makes a difference. Guess for 2007 they routed it on the curbside so it wouldnt exhaust under the bedroom slide.

We also used the Gen-X exhaust riser system (I think that’s what their called). This vents the gases up above the roof of the trailer.

My owners manual says not to sleep with the genny running under the bedroom; fumes and all. We've never camped where we've needed to run it but it is fairly quiet.
