a friend built a expanded steel cage/box that fit over his generator. his gen set was bolted to the bed and the box was hinged at the top/front and had latches next to the bed. he used three locks on the cage... the gen set could run his fiver as he had a long power cord to his r.v. the gen set ran off his trucks second fuel tank. he also had a air horn hooked up to a switch, mounted somewhere on the cage, that if the system wasn't turned off, it would blow when the cage was opened... the gen set was a 10k diesel generator.. so it was a few $$$$ to buy... never had a problem, could be cause his pit bull puppy slept in the bed of his truck....
