Generator
It is necessary to have a generator in a 5th wheel, I know some have them some don't. We are looking to go to a 5th from our class a and we really don't use ours a lot now.

Is there a difference between running that type of generator at full load vs 1/2 load? No eco feature, I am not sure how that works.
I will say that on my Honda, I go through the majority of a bottle of propane in a day when running the air. If I were doing it again, and planned on a lot of extended run times, I would look into running the generator off an outboard motor gas tank. Sure it would be more of a pain having another fuel source, and you would have to worry about fuel going bad or gumming up the carbs, but you get longer run time on gas (more BTU/gallon) and it is easier to fill those extended tanks than to swap out those big, heavy RV propane tanks.
