Good question, we never full timed before. We had small 30' gassers used for weekend /vacation trips. Very entry level and no way I would part time and/or tour the US. The F53 on entry level gassers will beat you to death.
Next year we plan to tour the US. I work remote, son is out of school and DW also works remote or not at all. We thought, that now is the best time to take a trip like this, part timing really as eventually we will return to the S&B. We need something 35-37' with sleeping for 3 (real sleeping not a couch) W/D, etc. We sold our MH and currently do not have an RV. The CRV is still set up to tow and I still have the bars etc. If we decide to go with a FW, then the CRV and it's setup becomes a moot point. If we end up with a MH, it will likely be a 35-37' high end gasser like a Newmar or a slightly used DP.
As son goes to college, and we become empty nesters, we may choose to move to more full time, but then again, we may not.
