Someting like 20,000 RV parks are listed
Check out "Trailer Life campground guide" on Google
If you have an iphone,there is an app avaiable that lists all the GS parks
If you have an android smartphone there is an app "RV Parky" that list most/many RV parks
there are many free parking spaces available.Some truck stops,some roadside rest areas,Cracker Barrel etc

X2 Nothing beats just asking.

On our trip from Ohio to Maine, we stayed one night at a Cracker Barrel, and one at a Cabela's. So there are more choices than just Walmart. I called both before staying.
