Getting ready to hit the road

Can someone tell me how you find out what WALMARTS will allow you to stop for the night in their parking lots. I was told not all of them allow it.

Also, is there a quick easy way to find a Good Sams park on our route? Without a generator we might want to stop and plug in the camper so we can gt some airconditioning.

Appreciate your response - thanks.

Check out "Trailer Life campground guide" on Google
If you have an iphone, there is an app avaiable that lists all the GS parks
If you have an android smartphone there is an app "RV Parky" that list most/many RV parks
there are many free parking spaces available. Some truck stops, some roadside rest areas,Cracker Barrel etc

    X2 Nothing beats just asking.
  • On our trip from Ohio to Maine, we stayed one night at a Cracker Barrel, and one at a Cabela's. So there are more choices than just Walmart. I called both before staying.
