Happened to us as well. Moonshine Creek near Sylva NC. Went in to the CG. Told us they were putting us into the "more secluded" loop. so we followed them to out site, backed in, and all was great.
Until it came time to leave. It wasn't a loop. There was no way out. so I had to back down the Cg road about 200 feet to the bath house area, and turn it around there. if the Tt had been 3 feet longer. It wouldn't have turned around. So, it was my only two trips to Moonshine Creek. First, and Last. That's two ain't it.
Yeah it was my fault. But I didn't know the road didn't go around the curve when I backed in.
