Have you checked the F26RDS and F26CIS? My Wife wasn't a fan of the RKS, but we really loved the RDS. We're holding out to take a look at the CIS to see if we would prefer the island over the peninsula kitchen. Looked it over, very solid, love the fact that shock absorbers are already installed and it came with 16" tires already (making the transition to LT tires easier). If finances work out, I'm hoping to buy an RDS or CIS within a year or so.

Saw the RDS and my wife loves the opposing slides Of the RKS. Specs say it is a well built unit for sure. Ordering ours as soon as we are back from our camping trip in mid Sept.

The Glacier Peak is supposed to have the 10" I-beams. So from what a sales guy said there should be not as much flex for the RK.

The only reason we did not buy a Glacier Peak 5th wheel this year, was cost vs useage. We decided to go with a smaller travel trailer instead. Hindsight being what it is...we would probably have bought the RKS (and still might in a couple years ;))

Congratulations to you and your wife!! Good to hear "Cancer Free". I don't know about that FW but it sure is nice looking. May you both be blessed with lots of years and memories with it.

The RK is the 1st of 6 new 5'ers in their line up. They been building TT's for several years now and just started in on 5'ers. I own a Fox Mountain from Northwood Mfg which is a sister company of sorts to OutdoorRV. We've been pleased with our FM so far. Had it 15 mths and spent 60-70 nights in it and put over 6000 miles on it. Had one minor Northwood related issue that was fixed in a couple hrs. I don't think you can really go wrong with a unit from either company.

To the OP, great to hear you wife is cancer free. I'm sure both of you are relieved and can't wait to start a new chapter in your life. Good luck with your GP 5'er.
