One question I have about the bumper pull trailers has to do with backing up.
I understand that when you use a sway control bar that you must disconnect it before backing up. That sounds like a bit of a pain, especially if you just need to quickly backup to negotiate a turn or something.
Any input?
You must be thinking of friction sway control and yes, with those you need to disconnect when making very tight turns. With an equalizer or dual cam set-up which I have on my 3118 Raptor there is no need to disconnect anytime while tight maneuvering.
