Cool, congratulations! Thanks for posting here; I don't visit the toy hauler forum much so I may not have known this.
We've looked at several of the higher end Jayco products and are convinced they are pretty well built. We were actually very close to pulling the trigger on a Pinnacle.
What made you decide to go to a toy hauler? We also thought of going that route but had trouble finding a layout that we liked and I don't think we would have gotten some of the larger ones (like yours) into our back yard! That is a beautiful looking unit, though.
And lastly, are you sure you have enough truck for that? ;) You know someone is going to ask! I know it will handle it just fine!
Please post some photos when you get it!
I may have to upgrade to a bigger truck:)....We love our HR Presidential Suite, it's been great, replaced one front landing gear and that was only issue, rest jut normal maintenance. Reason we are going to a TH is that we needed a little more room when we decide to retire and run around in a 5er. Will keep it on my property in WVa most of the year and when it get's really cold, probably head south and will also visit out west some. This unit has two full baths and lot's of space to keep things....We don't have any "toy's' but will utilize the garage to store things and keep bicycle's and some exercise equipment.
Current 5er is 39' 9" long and weighs in at 16,300 (CAT scale weight), The Jayco has a GCWR of 20,000 and "empty" weight 15, 650#...it's also 45' long, so guess I'll have to re-learn how to corner with it.....
Probably pick it up early week after next
