I was wondering if anyone knew of any good campgrounds around Mountain Home Arkansas. I travel in a 34 foot 5th Wheel. I don't want to have to travel through any steep mountains to get there, so if you know of any good campgrounds, try to keep that in mind.Thank`s,John in Ocala Florida.

Lakeview Park CORPS Really nice and clean showers and restrooms! And on the Lake! Lakeview Arkansas

I stayed at Mount Magazine State Park last spring. Really nice campground.

We like the Dam Quarry Park below the Norfork Dam, its a COE park with water, Electric and dump station. Right on the Norfork River and the fishing is very good when not generating. About 10- 15 miles South of Mtn Home.

Unless you want Mtn. Home specifically, keep going to Branson, MO. about 90 miles further. Nothing in Mtn. Home except my Brother and he is snow-birding in Texas.

If you are going to be in Mt. Home for awhile, there is an RV/mobile home park in town we stay at when there to visit mom. Not the greatest but decent enough. Never had any issues there and we stay in our 5th wheel. Good luck
