Have run the G614's for several years on my trailer- 22k pounds loaded.
The tires are great! However, I did have a blowout last year- tire was 4 years old and it could have been something I ran over... Replaced all six of my old G614's with new G614's in June before a big trip. Glad I did- it was 124 degrees outside when I pulled through Baker CA and any tire that can stand up to that kind of temperature has got my vote!
If I had it to do all over I would buy 17.5" wheels. (when I went to the G614's from E rated China bombs I had to buy HD 16" wheels) The 17.5" size gives you a lot of options from a tire standpoint and even higher ratings!
If you are staying with 16" wheels ask yourself if $500.00 is worth the possible aggravation, damage, lower safety... of a possibly inferior product?
