That is absolutely amazing. Three failures and still using the same tire size, model and brand? Why not buy a tire that doesn't fail?
OK, give me the name of a brand that is guaranteed to never fail .... wait a moment I'll make it a bit easier, give me the name of a brand that is guaranteed not to fail for 5 years of use with little, if any, regard for miles of use and I'll give it serious consideration .... my bet is you can't do so, nor can anyone else because that tire doesn't exist .... until it does, I'll stick with the only one that will pay for the damage .... as others have noted, the failures we experienced were years ago, as best I can remember the last one was back in '06 or '07

I'm not aware of any tire manufacturer that will guarantee a tire not to fail but there have been many RV.net members who have switched tires types/brands after failures and have not had any more failures. Seems to me that would indicate something that would cause any RV.net member to give serious consideration to changing tire brands/type after experiencing 3 tire failures which also caused major RV damage. After owning a 5th wheel for 6 years, if and when we ever purchase another, the consideration of the warranty provided by the manufacturer will be a distant second to the manufacturer who requires the least amount of warranty repairs. Warranty repairs are not free and in fact are a real hassle.
prior to switching to G614's on our former camper we had 5 failures of Goodyear Marathons and 6 failures of OEM Kenda Loadstar tires in less than a year on our current camper .... since '02 on our current and former camper, we have purchased 5 sets of G614's .... we average over 10,000 miles towed per year with a couple of years including single trips of over 10,000 miles .... in short for over 11 years we have towed well over 100,000 miles .... we have had 3 G614 tire failures (all of which took place from late '06 through mid '08 )for which Goodyear has
paid 100% of the damages and replaced the tires ... if/when our towing covers fewer miles I may well look at some other tires but as things stand now, I'd be hard pressed to go with a tire that may do well .... hopefully others who do use them will report back so that more will be known about their performance
