Simple economics, or math, is I saved a whole lot of American dollars!!!
Sorry, so sorry.
When American manufacturers get their act together and can produce and offer products here at home at a comparable price to overseas then I'll be one of the first to jump on board.
Unfortunately that won't happen in my life time.
Right now the Sailum tires are good quality value....and for the Good Year G people, I have insurance that will cover any blowout damages...if...that happens.
It rips me as I have been around long enough to see the old days.
Your rates will go up with a claim. GY WILL cover damages.
Well when your job is phased out by China please don't whine!
Free Country, actions do have consequences!
First of all Cummins I am retired so I'm not concerned about a job...although I am concerned about my kids in the future. With that we have no control except for voting but that doesn't seem to make a difference in recent times.
Rates going up? Maybe but I'll deal with that but will not pay exorbinant prices to Good Year.
Free Country...yup, and with what is going on I've made a choice.
Unfortunately most choices are out of Country for tires and most other products. I can't change this right now and you can't either. US manufactures evidently have little leway because of cost differences except to go overseas due to whatever...but we really know why.
Hopefully the next generation can...obviously we failed!!
