gooseneck adapter
Has anyone used a gooseneck adapter on a 5er to have just a ball in the bed of the truck instead of the large hitch? We are considering trading the TT for a 5er but I hate to give up the bed space.

For all the "don't" advice, I wonder why many different makes are sold and I see other Fivers with adapters in almost every campground we stay in?
I'm sure adapters cause a lot less damage than tires (speaking from experience)!
Well maybe not in Alabama, but in oregon Safety chains required on Ball hitches.
