gooseneck adapter
Has anyone used a gooseneck adapter on a 5er to have just a ball in the bed of the truck instead of the large hitch? We are considering trading the TT for a 5er but I hate to give up the bed space.

I use a B&W turnover ball plus Companion Hitch. This provides the flexibility of using either a gooseneck or 5th wheel hitch. When the hitches are removed all that is left is a square hole in the bed of the truck.
The companion 5th wheel hitch works great and is easy to remove. It breaks down into two pieces, I can handle them but it would be better for two people or use a lift of some sort.
