gooseneck adapter
Has anyone used a gooseneck adapter on a 5er to have just a ball in the bed of the truck instead of the large hitch? We are considering trading the TT for a 5er but I hate to give up the bed space.

Having the B&W turnover ball in my truck I could use the B&W Companion but it is so long that there is no room in front of it for my Yamaha 4500W generator. The goose box would allow me to store the genny against the front of the bed. Otherwise I have no place to carry it.
I have no problems with safety chains as all of my trailers (both bumper pull and gooseneck have them). It's just added security. Since I have a tailgate step getting into the bed of the truck is no problem either to hook it up.
All I need to know is which fifth wheel manufacturers use the Lippert frames that the Goose Box will work with.
