Gooseneck welded on pinbox
I have a 2004 Nomad 5th wheel that has a Bulldog goose neck hitch welded on the pin box of the trailer. Is this that bad of an idea?

Just look at any gooseneck trailer, all the extra metal for gusseting and bracing. You don't have this under the skin of a 5er.
