Got the insurance money but I can't I do this myself?

Just going by the instructions the adjuster gave me. Insurance company sent me a check but usually the repair is more and we'll take care of that with an adjustment. His words, and the repair shop confirmed that's how it works. I don't have any burgundy or white stripes on my J wrap. It's just a solid charcoal/brown.
