just make sure of your ratings.. the newer generation SRW vehicles are more capable of handling a fifth wheel at 16K GVW..
On my "15" F-350 SRW , my 16.5K GVW trailer is just shy of the max ratings for the rear tires . .
We are at 15,320 per CAT scales , with a pin weight of 3105# . It is also HOW you load the trailer and use it.. we are weekend warriors , we have more empty cabinets then we have 1/2 full ones . .
