The OP mentioned a DVD player - which was most likely a Furrion unit as that's what has been used in most of the Grand Design units, although I believe they have also used Jensen and perhaps others.
Some other posters mentioned other components. Generically speaking, there are a limited number of component suppliers for RV manufacturers to use - audio, video, frame, axles, brakes, etc. When you get into 12VDC audio/video products designed to be used in an RV to supply an external video display, the selection is very limited. When one of them has QC issues, there aren't a lot of alternatives to switch to, and all of them have issues from time to time. It's a******shoot in many cases.
